Fruit juice concentration forward osmosis (FO) system
The fruit juice concentration forward osmosis system comprises of two modular units. The core unit for the fruit juice concentrator is a FO membrane module. A draw solution is used to extract water from fresh fruit juice across an FO membrane, thereby concentrating the fruit juice product. In the second unit, the diluted draw solution can be recovered using Tritech’s other membrane modular system. The draw solution can be reuse back in the core FO unit.
